The ExhibitionThe final works for the Photo-ID exhibition will be installed throughout August 2009 in the atrium of The Forum, an iconic public building in the heart of the City of Norwich. A £63 million project, funded by a £31.5 million grant from the Millennium Commission with matching support from Norfolk County Council, Norwich City Council and the business community, it is a unique landmark building, designed by Hopkins Architects. The atrium is a large, free, public exhibition space that receives around 2.5 million visitors a year and has hosted several major exhibitions in the past few years. We will also be actively seeking to tour the exhibition to other venues in the U.K. George Sexton Associates of Washington, USA, are undertaking the overall design of the exhibition. Joe Geitner, of the UK branch of George Sexton Associates (www.gsadc.com/), will design the exhibition and will oversee the installation of the work. He very successfully designed and installed the Making Faces exhibition that NCAS curated in 2006 (www.makingfaces.org.uk) ![]() |
